Lovely views of the beach from the main balcony, where horses and trotting gigs were exercised early morning and evening and an easy 30mins walk along the boardwalk to Deauville and 10 mins more to Trouville - the apartment is in Tourgeville. Also 15 min-20min walk to Clairefontaine racetrack. Apartment was spotless and kitchen facilities were good. The lounge had comfy chairs and sofas. WiFi was excellent. Very helpful concierge.
Slightly cramped for two adults in the kitchen/diner, which is being a bit picky and also around the bed to accommodate a TV - which we didn't need but of course may be important to some. We could have done with a bigger fridge and smaller freezer, but of course again for others that may suit better. These are minor points, I would emphasise.

Nous avons séjourné dans un appartement absolument magnifique, avec une vue splendide sur la mer. L’emplacement est idéal et le logement est agréable, très bien agencé et confortable. Nous avons réellement apprécié le cadre et l’ambiance générale, qui auraient pu rendre notre séjour parfait.
Cependant, nous avons été déçus par la propreté à notre arrivée. Le ménage n’était clairement pas à la hauteur : sanitaires mal nettoyés avec des poils visibles, traces sur certaines surfaces… Ce sont des détails importants, car lorsqu’un ménage est aussi insuffisant, il est difficile de se sentir vraiment à l’aise. Le linge de lit et les serviettes ne sentaient pas bon non plus, ce qui renforçait cette impression de manque de soin.
Nous avons choisi d’en parler au concierge uniquement à notre départ, par bienveillance, car nous ne voulions pas le déranger — d’autant plus qu’il y avait le marathon ce week-end. Nous avions déjà nettoyé certaines choses nous-mêmes. Pourtant, sa réaction a été assez surprenante : il l’a mal pris, alors que notre intention n’était absolument pas de faire un reproche, mais simplement de signaler un point important pour les futurs voyageurs.
C’est vraiment dommage, car l’appartement a un potentiel exceptionnel. Avec un ménage plus rigoureux et un accueil plus ouvert à l’échange, ce logement pourrait offrir une expérience irréprochable, à la hauteur de la qualité du lieu et de son emplacement extraordinaire.
