Ocean breeze & views - studio

The view from our apartment was beautiful, and we sat out there to eat our dinner a few times. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. Airconditioning was great, as it was pretty hot when we arrived. The room was a good size, with plenty of space for the two of us and a short walk down to the beach nearby. The grounds were decorated with tropical flowers and little lizards and mongoose would scuttle past throughout the day. We loved this area, it was very beautiful. Hiring a car from our hosts was very straight forward and saved us a bit of money and hassle too, as they left it at the airport for us to collect. Great little car aswell, it was needed to see the island.

This is nothing to do with the property really, the property itself was fabulous, but the roads in Antigua are quite bad, plenty of potholes everywhere and I live in Turks and Caicos which has bad roads too, but these were by far worse. Ideally, you do need a car to get around, and if you can, I'd recommend something thats's designed for off road use. We had our little car (which was great!) and we burst a tyre within 24 hours of having it. There are no shops near the accommodation so you do need to get supplies from St John, but you can download AllMart app and get things delivered, we only benefited from this facility on the last day and would have definitely used it more if we'd have known about it beforehand.

A welcoming environment with well kept gardens and an easy access, clean pool. Very big sunshades around the pool. Good air conditioning. Good, welcoming management.

The unavoidable noise just after water was used, for example flushing the toilet in the night.

We loved everything about this place. Clean, well maintained, comfortable studio , beautiful view, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, even more ( coffee maker, blender) ; the pool is nice and clean. There’s a washing/dryer we could use and was great especially if you pack light as we did. The position is great, too, you have access a to Yepton beach, which is just a few steps away or at about 20 minutes walk is one of our favorite beaches in Antigua, Deep Bay beach. Good communication with the host, gave us clear directions and easy self check-in. Definitely recommend.
