The apartment is located in a quiet living area around 5 min by car from Guápiles city center. Although it is located on the families premises it is very private. The accommodation is quite basic but very clean and the beds have mosquito nets. The car can be parked on the premises and there is a cute little garden. Coffee, sugar and a coffee maker can be found in the kitchen. The owner and his mother were very friendly and they lent us a vacuum cleaner to clean the car. They offered laundry washing but we didn't need it.
The (outdoor) kitchen technically has everything you need but the condition is not very good. Everything is a little dirty and technical equipment is kind of broken but the coffee maker (Costa Rica Style) was in good shape.
