The location is pretty good, only a good 15 minutes away from the main bits of town by foot. The clealiness was outstanding and the bedroom was spacious and comfortable, even for 2 it would be ok. The shared bathroom and kitchen were always very clean. Overall value for money was ok, considering how expensive Alicante is. The staff was very responsive.
Stay away if you're sensitive to smells. Everything they use has a stong smell, the sheets detergent, the flour desinfectant and on top they use air freshners all over the property. I stayed in another place where they did this too, I think it's to mask smells from the old buildings, not sure but it is excessive. Luckily once in the bedroom, it fainted a bit after opening the windows but it never fully went away.

Great service from Vero who responded instantly on my last-minute reservation and on my additional questions, just before arrival.
It was a spotless clean, little room.
A very quiet aircon, which was far more quiet than my aircon in the 4* hotel in Madrid, the day before. A comfortable bed and a very good shower.

Staff was very friendly forthcoming and attentive. The bed was comfortable enough. There was free coffee and tea.
The place smelled excessively of cleaning products. One could hear neighbors and other people staying at the flat. A single shared toilet for multiple rooms. Very small rooms. The price was highly inadequate to the experience.
