Jeff was very accommodating and his staff was very helpful. Though the house is really cold, it was clean and had the basic amenities a house needs including hot water and WiFi. It also had supermarkets and eateries close by with easy access to Uber

The fridge was not working. After tallying receipts of food bought against thrown, it was close to Ksh 700 worth. I did raise the issue with Jeff and asked for compensation on a lower amount as sign of good faith but, the refund is yet to be resolved. I also asked for a more official receipt of booking done but, this is yet to be done

The property was tidy when we arrived and I appreciated the hot-and-cold water dispenser and the swimming pool (though it is not heated) so, we did not swim. The location is outside the city center but groceries like Quickmart and Naivas are within walking distance. However, there were several challenges. Garbage was not collected during the stay. The unit felt small for two people especially the toilet and bathroom with no shelves or pigeon boxes to place personal items. Only one of the two cabinets was open, so most belongings had to remain in luggage or on the couch. The room itself was also small, with limited space for storage. The kitchen setup was incomplete: a cooking pot was available but without a lid and only one dining chair was provided. I asked for another chair but received no response. I also requested hangers since there was no space to hang clothes and thankfully those were eventually provided except the dining chair. The road leading to the property is rough and not cemented which makes walking difficult, especially when it rains—mud and water make shoes dirty quickly. Overall, the property has potential but improvements in cleanliness, storage, kitchen equipment and responsiveness to guest requests would make it much more comfortable.

I didn’t like that the property is far from the city center which made taxi fares high. The road leading to the property is rough and not cemented, so walking is difficult, especially when it rains, with mud, water and heavy traffic making travel inconvenient. In addition, there’s a bar nearby that plays loud music in the evenings, particularly on weekends, which made it noisy and less relaxing. On top of that, I was provided with a broken pillowcase, which was disappointing.”

The apartment had the necessary amenities and quite comfortable.
