Villa Pantano

The location was exactly what we wanted. It was remote, real sicily, with local people. The pool was fantastic, the bedrooms clean and comfortable.

Although it was clean where it mattered, like the kitchen, bathrooms, pool etc. The property could do with a full deep clean and a bit of garden maintenance. The views and the location definitely outweigh the negatives and we would come again.

Attention à la taille de la voiture. La route pour arriver au logement est très étroite

fantastisk beliggendhed. dejligt hus, og rigtig god service af vært og hus passeren. lækker udsigt, dejlige naboer. især grill området var lækkert.

det eneste var at rengøringen var mangelfuld, flere skabe var ikke rengjorte i lang tid. poolen kunne godt trænge til en opgradering.

A lovely Villa in a great location. The Villa is about 400m above sea level so gets a cooling breeze. Air con in all bedrooms was very welcoming. Well equipped kitchen and outside cooking area. Swimming pool is perfect size and Giancarlo was very helpful and always available if needed. The nearest supermarkets are about 10 minutes away and there’s some really good options for eating out in Sant Stefano di Camastra. The beach is about 10-15 minute drive, although too hot for us when we were there. There was some basic cooking supplies and a very good espresso machine. There’s also an outside BBQ and Kitchen area which is great. View from the Villa is amazing. Location was good for us with Cefalù a 40 minute drive and Etna about 2 hours, train station in S.Stefano di Camastra is a benefit with Palermo about an hour away by train

There wasn’t much to dislike, the outside kitchen area could have been a bit cleaner. The driveway is steep and tight and would be a struggle to get a large European SUV (Range Rover etc) all the way to the house so be careful if you hire a vehicle that is not too big. We had a Renault Symbioz which we had no problem getting all the way to the house.
