One room in the house serves as an owner’s office when no guests are scheduled, and the unfinished basement is closed off for storage. The rest of the home is fully available for guests to enjoy!
The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is a quiet, residential area with charming wooded streets, offering a peaceful retreat. Just steps away, you'll find a lively hub of restaurants, bars, and The Arcada Theatre, bringing the perfect balance of relaxation and entertainment right at your doorstep.
Getting Around:
You'll have free parking in the driveway that can accommodate up to two cars.

Kitchenette
The house features a kitchenette with a sink, microwave, full refrigerator, and hot plate—perfect for light meals and snacks. While there isn’t a stove, oven, or dishwasher, you won’t miss them with the endless dining options just steps away!
Coffee: Cuisinart maker (uses both drip coffee & K-cups—starter K-cups provided).
Kitchenette includes plates, bowls, water glasses, wine glasses, utensils, toaster, hot plate, cookware, wine opener, bottle opener, paper plates, plasticware and cups.
No Washer/Dryer onsite
A walkable laundromat is close-by if you need to wash anything

Our home is in an incredible central location, right in the heart of downtown St. Charles, just steps from the Arcada Theatre and a variety of fantastic restaurants. Being in such a vibrant area means you may hear some of the lively energy from the streets, especially on beautiful days. Also, typical of historic homes, the stairs sometimes have a bit of a creak. It adds to the charm, but to ensure a restful stay for our guests that might be light sleepers, we've provided white noise machines and a couple of box fans.

For guest privacy, one room is reserved as an office for the owners when not rented, and the unfinished basement is closed off for storage.
Please Note: This is a quiet neighborhood, and quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10 PM to 7 AM.
Only registered guests are allowed on the property. Absolutely NO parties are permitted.

We came for July 4th and everything was very nice! Clean and cozy with very good quality sheets and blankets on the beds. We loved it and will stay again if we return to St. Charles.
