Welcome to paradise and everything under the sun!
This charming 5/4 has been fully updated. Upstairs is a spacious all new 3/2, with an amazing gourmet kitchen and a master with its own bath. The master has a king bed, it's own TV and a beautiful slate shower with a bench. The other two guest rooms share a newly remodeled bath with a granite top vanity and a tub. One guest room has a queen bed and the other has a bunk bed(2 singles) and a double size futon. The guest rooms also have their own private balconies to enjoy the ocean breezes. Upstairs has a great foosball table. TV room has a nice wide screen HDTV with surround sound, Blue Ray DVD player, and an FM/AM receiver. The entire back of the house is an open air balcony overlooking the backyard and dock and pool.
The downstairs is a more casual 2/2 with it's own kitchen, dining and entertainment center. One room has 2 double beds and the other has one queen size bed. The downstairs entertainment room is spacious with leather couches. Downstairs there is a great covered paved patio area to hangout and enjoy the ocean breezes in our unique 4 person hammock lounge, our cozy full size hammock, our 4 person bar, our 4 person comfy lounge couches or dine at our 6 person deck table.
Adjacent to the covered terrace is the pool area. The pool is heated and has an extra large first step. Max depth is 5.5 feet.
This house is in the perfect location for a family keys getaway. It is located on Plantation Key on the oceanside. This means you are a stones throw away from the ocean on a deep water canal with no bridges to the ocean and a 70 foot sea wall with a fish cleaning station at your back door. You are minutes from the crystaline waters off the reefs and the world class blue water deep sea fishing of the Florida Keys. If you are a backwater fisherman then you can drop your boat at a nearby marina and keep the trailer on the side of the house. You have the best of both worlds because you have access to oceanside fishing or back country fishing through Tavernier Creek bridge.
Around the corner is a great little shallow water basin where you can kayak and see the bonefish tailing. We have 4 other worthwhile kayak mini trips you can take from the house. Pick one and go. Info for your trips is detailed at the house. Right outside the channel you have Pennekamp State park to the North and prime fishing grounds and reefs to the south.
Within walking distance (1/2 mile) you have a dive shop with dive trips, 4 restaurants, and a grocery store. Within a mile you have a CVS, movie theater, post office, a big grocery store, a Dollar Store, and a multitude of great restaurants for dining. A couple of miles to the south you have Islamorada's Founder's Park with an olympic size pool with lifeguards, a water park, basketball and tennis courts, walking and jogging courses, a playground and a beach.

We had a great stay at this place. There was plenty room for our party of 9 and space for docking the boat. The location is excellent for getting to great snorkeling and diving spots.

10/10 would absolutely recommend. Heated pool was perfect. Very spacious. The host is very accommodateing. We plan to return in the future.
