Les Balcons - Rosael Appartement 3 Avec Cheminée-piscine-sauna-hammam

The apartment was great. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. The communication with the owner and the property manager was easy and they were both very quick at responding and very helpful. The apartment has a shared steam room and pool and sauna (the sauna was not working when we were there). There was a great panoramic view of Val Thorens which was perfect for New Years fireworks and general viewing. It does have ski in access but with caution unless there is good now coverage (intermediate level). Skin out was possible at the end of the little street 100m walk (also better with more snow coverage). It is very close to the resort shuttle (100m). It’s a quieter area of Val Thorens which is a positive plus the shuttle and several restaurants and a supermarket all in less than 2 minutes walk. The apartment had a raclette machine which was nice. It also has a Nespresso machine plus a filter coffee machine and most kitchen utensils you need. There are 2 toilets and two showers. However, it is not possible to close the door to the second toilet (door too close to the toilet) and the showers both had a drainage problem when we were there (required a plunger). There is no washing machine on site (laundromat 5 minute walk away that costs 6 per wash - self service). All linen was included as part of the apartment rental. The TV isn’t compatible with streaming services so bring your own device or HDMI cable and laptop. Wifi is included.
