Quiet holiday in the middle of Bensersiel!
The "Haus Maris" with a holiday home and two holiday apartments is located in a very quiet side street without through traffic on the "quay dike" of the Benser Tief, just 400 metres from the dike in the middle of the North Sea spa town of Bensersiel. Bensersiel is located directly at the unique natural spectacle "Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park", since 2009 "UNESCO World Heritage Site".
The holiday home is about 92 square metres in size and is ideal for 2 to 6 people plus an additional toddler. The holiday apartments are about 40, 47 and 48 square metres in size and are ideal for one to three people, two to four people or for two to four people plus an additional toddler. The holiday home and the holiday apartments are comfortably furnished and equipped with everything you need on your holiday. The residents of the holiday home and the holiday apartments will also find plenty of space to relax in the garden.
From the "Haus Maris" you can easily reach all the attractions that Bensersiel has to offer in a few minutes on foot: the beach, the harbour or the bathing area North Sea thermal spa "Sonneninsel", a modern heated fun and leisure pool. All spa facilities as well as a modern wellness, sauna and fitness centre are also located there. The harbour and the tourist beach facilities are also very close.
There is the beach itself with an adventure playground and children's house "Kunterbunt" and the new beach portal with "Bennis Abenteuerland", a beach facility for children under roof as well as an internet room for surfing in the winter days. You will also find the seawater outdoor pool, the maritime sports theme park, the circus tent for the children and for many events as well as many more ideas for your holiday around the beach.
The quay dike is in the immediate vicinity of our house; this is how beautiful walks begin at the "Benser Tief" (What is a "Tief"? Do you want to know more? Click here on this sentence!) right on the doorstep. From here you can start wonderful bike tours along the "Benser Tief" inland through the marsh over the wide meadows and fields directly adjacent to Bensersiel.
For your shopping, morning rolls or a nice meal or a delicious coffee or tea, there is a wide range of shops, restaurants, cafés and cosy maritime pubs at your disposal. For example, there is a supermarket, a bakery and several cute shops as well as several restaurants within walking distance in and on the covered shopping and restaurant row "Deichpassage" in the "Nordseegartenpark" holiday centre.
For your holiday or cure you are ideally catered for. Very close to Bensersiel is Esens, the "parlour" of the Harlingerland. You can reach Esens by car in about five minutes. Even better, take a bike and ride "around the back" through the marshland via the "Hammerweg" or over the idyllic "Kajedeich" at the "Benser Tief" (What is a low? The great Bensersiel offer is complemented in Esens by the over 475-year-old knight's town with a historically grown town centre. There are a lot of small and large events, museums and other gastronomy and shopping opportunities here. It is best for your children to visit the indoor play park "Klabautermann" and will certainly have a lot of fun there. The "Klabautermann" is a large hall full of ideas for playing and romping.
In general, our area is ideal for long walks, bike tours and discovery trips into the unique nature of East Frisia. So you can experience your holiday at the North Sea in an active and relaxed way and benefit optimally from the stimulating climate of the North Sea.
There is also a lot on offer for your health: health-promoting courses, fitness and gymnastics courses in the Vital-Aktiv-Center; or take a beauty day and let yourself be pampered.
