About this cabin rental

You will not want to leave this cabin, so cozy and quiet yet close to everything. Built by Supreme Court Justice Judge Logan Bleckley on Screamer Mountain in the mid 1800's, see photos and remained in the Bleckley family until 2022 when it was completely restored back to as original as possible. It is situated on 11 acres, so plenty of room for hiking up the mountain and be sure to stop and see the old clay tennis court he built for he and his wife. Also only a 5 min walk to downtown Clayton.

We loved the cabin for its’ location, history, and amenities! Perfect spot for our girls’ getaway but would also be great for couples or families with kids. Less than 5 minutes to downtown, grocery stores, shopping and so many good restaurants. Two state parks and the Foxfire Museum were on our list and we really enjoyed our time in Rabun County!

We loved the cabin. It was rustic and very charming. We wished the seating would have been where the 4 of us could all sit comfortable together. There is a love seat and 2 straight back chairs in one area and the other has a sofa and a bench. The only other problem we had was evidence of a mouse in the kitchen and upstairs on one of the beds.
