Duplex BULLES D'AIX terrace historic center

Place was very clean and comfortable. One thing that was off putting was the entry from off the street. When you first enter the gate off the street the courtyard is very rundown and dark with an old ratty sofa in the entry outside. We had difficulty with the key for the main entry, but once we figured that out it worked fine. For us as Americans, the directions said the place was fist red door on the left, fist floor, but for us, it is actually on the 2nd floor - you must go up the stairs to find the correct door. We kept trying to get into the wrong door, which was embarrassing. Once in, it is comfortable and cute. As an older couple, the stairs were difficult to manage. On another note, the listing says there is an ocean view and near the ocean - it is not. There is no view and it’s not near the ocean. Also be sure to bring your own shampoo and laundry detergent if you will be washing a load of clothes. Overall, it was a nice place and if you are younger, it would be perfect. Great location and we did feel safe. We enjoyed the area very much! Communication with the owner was very good as well.
