This vacation home on the Sognefjord in the Sogn og Fjordane region is ideal for a fishing vacation or a family vacation in Norway. Fishing boats of various sizes are available for rent at each vacation rental. This vacation home is located a short distance from the Sognefjord, offering beautiful views of the turquoise-blue fjord. Enjoy a wonderful vacation in this traditionally furnished vacation home.
The living room of the vacation home features a table that seats 8 people, providing plenty of space for all guests. The living room also has a wood-burning stove, where you can spend cozy hours by a crackling fire.
The neighboring Fjord Cabins 16 and 23 are located about 30 meters away, where you’ll also find the dock for motorboats. Because of the distance from the other properties, this location is ideal for a vacation with several families.
The Sogn og Fjordane region is generally a very popular vacation destination, and many attractions are easily accessible by car or speedboat. Be sure to check out the activities described on this page—that way, you can get a good idea of what to expect in advance.

• 1 motorboat with a 9.9/15 PS gasoline engine: EUR 150 per week per boat; EUR 260 per boat for 2 weeks.
• 1 motorboat with a 30 PS gasoline engine: EUR 370.- per week per boat; 2 weeks: EUR 700.-
• 1 motorboat with a 40 PS gasoline engine: EUR 420.- per week per boat; 2 weeks: EUR 800.-
• 1 motorboat with a 60 PS gasoline engine: EUR 470 per week per boat; 2 weeks: EUR 900
• Please reserve the owner’s services listed above in advance; payment is due on site in Norwegian kroner, in cash, directly to the owner
• Only one of each motorboat is available. If a desired motorboat is not available during your reservation period, you may need to switch to a different motorboat.

In Ortnevik, about 10 km from the vacation home, there is a river where salmon run.
There is a filleting bench by the fjord for cleaning and filleting your catch.
Motorboats
The owner of these vacation homes has many different types of motorboats. You can rent one or more motorboats from the owner on a daily or weekly basis. Reserve your motorboat when you book your vacation home, or feel free to rent it directly on-site. You’ll find the price list for the motorboats in the vacation home description under the heading “Additional Services Available Upon Request.”
Fishing Regulations for Tourist Fishing: This vacation property, Cabin 17, and the neighboring houses (see Cabin 16 and Cabin 23) are registered as specialized tourism fishing operations; therefore, guests are permitted to export fish from Norway. Fishing in the fjord is generally free for everyone.
