    Excellent stay in Kyoto! The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the city and visit nearby attractions. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. The service was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Their attention to detail made the experience even better. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kyoto.

    There is a small wooden door stop outside the room photo above of a little hedgehog. Very charming small quaint lovely hotel with a very good breakfast. People working here are very accommodating and pleasant !!

    We enjoyed the location which was tucked away and easy to get to things we wanted on foot. The room is nice on appearance and with some space, however it was almost not possible to stay because you could not control your room temperature and they seemed to have the default setting at 26 which was sweltering. No matter how many times we asked them to just turn it off they would keep turning it back on, which included in the middle of the night.Asking to have it cooler was not possible either. We figured if we turn it off then we could tilt the window a bit to cool off the room. It is also common for there to be 1 pillow per person. I asked if I could have a second pillow but they said getting another pillow was not possible today or any other day of our stay. Those two things really impact the quality of time when you are there. If that could be remedied then I could give them a better review.
