    We were in Cartagena 2 days. This is a great location to walk through the walled area and tourist area. Family room was spacious and perfect for family of five. Felt safe. Right across from park where you can see the sloths

    Room is spacious & comfortable, with hot water in the shower & bath sink. (Because Cartagena climate is hot, not all accommodations, including vacation rentals, are plumbed with hot water.) Breakfast menu was limited but hot offerings were tasty. Our room faced the street. Noise wasn't much of an issue on a Friday & Saturday night stay. We noticed some street noise during the early evening, but we weren't in the room that long. Note that luggage need to be carried a few stair steps before one gets to the elevator.

    If being centrally located with tons of attractions within walking distance then this is the place to stay. The staff was receptive of my limited Spanish speaking abilities and encouraged to speak at my level of comfort. There is a bar on site thats open till 2AM, a café and also dining/room service with reasonably priced items (if you didnt include breakfast in your package).
