    This place is perfectly situated in Doulan and the beach is easy to access. Owner is super nice and the price is perfect for a comfortable accomodation. Only thing is it was a little dusty from my friend with asthma.

    There is a scam in Taitung where they offer a room for 2 on the booking website, then when you arrive they inform you the price is only for 1 person and you must pay double. This establishment tried to pull this scam on me and my friend. When I refused to pay and told them I would report them they called agoda and made us wait in the lobby for 20 minutes before finally agreeing to abide by the booking. I met travelers who were staying at other hostels in the area who had the same experience. They however paid the extra room charge.
