Palazzina Fusi

The room was very large and nice and clean. Close to restaurants and shops.

There was no air conditioning for us in April. It was a country wide rule to save energy?? It was warm a few days so we managed. The stairs to the apartment were it’s ok for someone with good legs but for anyone with hip of knee issues it may be a problem. The location was incredible. Right next to the Uffizi. We loved the location. Easy to get to everything. At night it gets a little loud under the window. People were walking late at night. The closed windows helped.

Perfect location! We arrived earlier than expected and were able to check in an hour ahead of time. Our window opened to the piazza and I loved opening the windows from time to time and people watching. Only negative was climbing 4 flights of stairs daily, but that was our fault because we did not notice the elevator stopped on each floor (we thought it was for service only). Oh well, it allowed us to burn the calories from all the gelato we ate. Mattress was very comfortable as well. If we return to Florence, I will absolutely stay in the same room!
