Great location. I loved the view of the functioning lighthouse from the balcony. There’s a great lookout spot behind the church to take pictures of the sunrise. This property was within walking distance of the historic old town, the new part of town, and three beaches.
The place was spacious and clean. Communication with the host was good. Check-in and out went smoothly.
My only comments for improvement:
The water temperature of the shower fluctuated wildly; this should be fixed. And, I never thought I’d say this, but the water pressure in the shower could be reduced, it was intense. Also, the coffee machine in the hallway only worked the first day we were there…the second day it was out of service.
There are a few (minor) things that could be added to make the place better: a garbage can in the kitchen and bedroom, paper towels, some basic cooking supplies (coffee, olive oil, salt pepper). Bonus points if you had some dry pasta, tomato sauce, a bottle of wine, and washcloths (I know many European hotels don’t have these, but if you’re catering to Americans, it’s definitely a plus).
We enjoyed our stay. I would stay here again.
