Everything. Cute leafy welcome, good communication and loved the tiki decor. Loved the efforts to keep the sargassum from washing up on the beach, giving a welcome relief from the smell across the island.

We love staying at Ramon's. It feels like you are in the jungle but minutes from the airport. All the staff is friendly and helpful.

I stayed in the sister resort across the street, and it was great. Rooms were very comfortable, great bathrooms, and a nice secluded location. There is a small pool, more for hanging out, outside of the room. Great atmosphere. Booking there allows your to use Ramon's village amenities. Staff was great, they picked us up from the water taxi and even gave me a ride to the next hotel I was staying at in San Pedro. Great hospitality.
Not anything I didn't like, but just noting them for others. Location is near the small airport so you will hear planes arriving/departing. No TV in the room I booked. Pools are a little smaller in both locations.
