Apartman Mirakul

Our family (2+2 teens) walked about 25mins from the ferry in Korcula, owners met to hand over keys. This is an entire ground floor and outdoor area(s) of a former restaurant, redeveloped to a high standard to convert bedrooms and bathrooms. This explains the quirky layout, and large stepped terraces. Top features include outdoor kitchen, hottub, table tennis, several seating options. Swimming and paddleboarding are great with direct access to sheltered and clear sea inlet - 2 good paddleboards included, would recommend learning how before you go. Very quiet area at all times, very nice to sit out with lots of shade. Useful supermarkets (Studenac) and bus stops (for Lumbarda and Korcula) are <5min along the road over the cross road. Best beach/swim areas are <10min walk down the nice lane on the opposite shore, near the Port 9 resort (but very happy we stayed here instead) - take the small path round the headland for 100m to the best spots. This was a great place to stay and I'd especially recommend for a family with teenagers.

Lots of rocky steps everywhere, fine for us but may not suit some. Air con was good, but 2 units do not include 2nd bedroom so teens room was a bit warm. Having both inside and outside kitchens was a bit complicated to start with, having to carry pans/plates/cutlery between them quite a lot. Hosts kindly offered to help with anything on WhatApps, but could also provide some basic local information (e.g. supermarkets, buses and beaches)

The apartment exceeded our expectations. It's all about the outdoor areas. So relaxing and comfortable It's in a great location and the host is always on call to help. Perfect for a family of 4 and a fifth person can be on the sofa. 2 bathrooms was a bonus. We would love to return one day.

Wonderful facilities - very well equipped. Host was lovely, communicative and even baked us fresh focaccia (which was delicious). Amazing facilities at the property - from paddle boards to table tennis. Great for kids and a very enjoyable stay.

A bit of a walk to the main centre (a bit of a suitcase drag from the ferry)- but that's not a bad thing. Lovely setting overlooking the water.

Everything was perfect here - the host Martina was great. She met us with the keys to show us around, and also helped arrange taxis etc when required. She also called one day to say she had been baking and left us an amazing tomato and olive bread! The villa was amazing. Lovely and clean inside, but the outside was the highlight - so much space and all sorts going on. There is an outdoor kitchen with fridge and dishwasher right next to the huge BBQ (which we made loads of use of). There's 3 different sets of tables and chairs, and loads of sunbeds. The front of the property goes right to the sea where you can swim or paddleboard (they had 3 paddleboards that we could use) and hear right out to sea. We enjoyed paddleboarding to the Old Town and the other nearby islands. The location was great too. Nice and quiet where we were with lovely views across the water, but only 10 minutes walk to the Old Town which is a lovely place to visit with all sorts to do. All in all, it was a perfect holiday, and we would love to come back some time in the future.
