Bear Watching Tiny House

We had the most wonderful stay in this beautiful cabin right at the edge of the forest. The views from the cozy living room and the bed upstairs are simply breathtaking, it’s the perfect spot if you’re hoping to spot some bears in the wild! The bathroom was spotless and the shower was perfectly warm and comfortable. The kitchen was practical and modern, equipped with a gas stove and more than enough cooking utensils for any meal you want to prepare. Inside the cabin, there were board games, binoculars for wildlife spotting, plenty of warm blankets, a lovely wood-burning fireplace, and even heating/air conditioning to keep the place super comfortable. It was too cold for us to hang out outside much, but the cabin also has lots of outdoor equipment available (like a barbecue), which is a great bonus for warmer seasons. But most importantly: the host, Jakab, is truly amazing. He welcomed us personally at the cabin and gave us a detailed tour during check-in. He was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. We had trouble with our car battery, and since it was Sunday and all garages were closed, he somehow managed to arrange a replacement battery for us absolutely lifesaving! Thank you again Jakab! All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We will definitely come back the next time we’re in Romania! ❤️

Our stay at the Bear Watching Tiny House was fantastic! The place was spotless and the host was very helpful, always quick to assist if any issues came up. The upstairs sleeping area was super cozy and the highlight was being able to watch bears right from the bed. We were lucky enough to see them on most days - sometimes during the day, but mostly in the evening - which was really impressive. It's also a perfect spot for bird lovers, since you can watch them looking for food at the birdhouse all day. During the day you can hear the nearby road a bit, but at night it was quiet and it didn't bother us at all. We can highly recommend it - and with a bit of luck, you'll get to see some bears too!

The only thing that could maybe be improved is adding a frying pan to the kitchen, which would make cooking even easier (currently only pots were provided). Still, it worked fine and the kitchen was very clean and well equipped.

Amazing view, and location was equipped with everything we needed. Enjoyed it enormously
