Port Philip Panorama - Bayview Retreat and Pool Bliss

Pool table and tennis court were amazing. Location is great - lots of fishing spots a short drive away. Beautiful sunsets from the balcony. Comfortable beds. The fourth (twin) bedroom is under the house, away from the rest - good for teens.

Great view, having a lot of facilities such as pool, tennis court and billiards table was great. Lovely quiet area quick drive to Mt Martha beach and Safety Beach.

Due to the week of hot weather the bedrooms and one of the living rooms warmed up a lot. The fans in the bedrooms were welcome but not sufficient. Only one cooling system in the kitchen area that struggled to fully cool the house down. (happy to have the hot weather though) :)

Location was great, quiet street and close to town. Short drive to attractions like the beaches and hot springs Tennis court and billiard table were great The two lounges setup kept everyone happy Pool was clean and inviting Bathrooms were clean and tidy

On arrival kitchen/table surfaces dirty with sticky handprints and grime. Floor desperately needed a mop All cutlery and crockery needed washing Several broken items: curtains couldn’t close, door handles hanging off, couch repaired with sticky tape No mattress protectors on any beds or spare blankets. Two guests complained of being cold Several small comforts missing which really affect the value for money: One cleaning cloth supplied for the whole stay. No tea bags at all supplied, three coffee pods supplied for four adults over 5 days, and nowhere near enough toilet paper. Had to ration the dishwasher powder. Cleanliness and tired amenities could be excused if not for some misleading advertising, and slow clarification from hosts when asked: No second pool as advertised - as of a week later and after being notified, it is still advertised as 2 pools Fire pit overgrown and inaccessible down steep embankment Yard not pet safe; boundary fencing not enclosed, steep embankment at rear leading to creek Though this can’t really be controlled by the hosts, the neighbours dog barked constantly anytime we were by the pool, which definitely affected our enjoyment.
