La Casa dei Sogni Roma is in an excellent location and provides a wonderfully cool and comfortable retreat from the heat of the city. The apartment is situated at basement level and benefits from very effective air conditioning, as well as being naturally cooler because of its position. We visited in June, when temperatures ranged from approximately 35°C to 42°C, so returning to the apartment offered some very welcome respite. It is also exceptionally spacious, with two large double bedrooms and three shower rooms, meaning there was certainly never a queue for anyone to get ready in the morning.

There were, however, a few areas that could be improved. The kitchen was not quite fully equipped for an apartment advertised as accommodating four people, as only two teacups were provided. The pots and pans were also incompatible with the electric hob, meaning that an adaptor plate had to be placed between the hob and the pan. This significantly reduced the heat transfer and made cooking anything very difficult and time-consuming. The toilet flushes were also a little tricky to operate, and the apartment would benefit from some general maintenance, including touching up the paintwork and attending to some of the fixtures and fittings. Parking nearby can also be difficult, so anyone planning to drive into Rome would be well advised to research the nearest parking facilities in advance.

We were surprised that the appartement was located in the underground of the building, it means no direct light from outside. Everything was perfect, but no light and our bedrooms smelted musty. Also Small bathrooms
