Lake Como PORTO VECCHIO - Charming Lakefront Apartment in the Heart of Domaso

We had a lovely stay at Lake Como Porto Vecchio – the apartment is charming, very well located right by the lake, and a great base for exploring Domaso. Chiara is a wonderful host – warm, attentive, and very welcoming. We really appreciated the thoughtful extras on arrival (water, juice, yogurt, toast, sweets, and even prosecco), which made us feel at home right away. She also kindly offered us a late check-out since there were no incoming guests, which made our departure much more relaxed and stress-free. One thing to be aware of, especially in summer, is the heat. During warmer nights, sleeping with open windows can be a bit noisy since the house is close to the road. However, with the windows closed and the fan on, it was perfectly comfortable for us. We would simply recommend closing the windows before going to sleep – after that, everything was absolutely fine. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back. It’s a beautiful place with a very caring host.

The apartment is absolutely fantastic and perfect in every way. The main draw when booking was the location and that window and yes it's every bit as good as we'd hoped. The view is that good it's hard not to take pictures every morning when you lpen the blind. Chiara is as good a host as you could ever want. It was more like staying at a friend's place and that friend is always on hand with great advice and help, and really wants you to have the best time possible. An absolute gem of a host. Genuinely one of life's lovely considerate people. Oh and free use of bicycles was a great little bonus.

No aircon and despite the fans it was so hot especially at night but this is being sorted.

De locatie, het uitzicht, fijn bed, wasmachine, privé parkeerplaats, gastvrijheid

Er is een privé parkeerplaats maar deze is wel op ruim 5 minuten wandelen vanaf de accommodatie. Voor ons geen probleem maar houd hier rekening mee. Er is geen airconditioning aanwezig, wel mobiele airco en ventilatoren, dit was voor ons prima maar goed om rekening mee te houden

l'accueil exubérant et efficace de Chiara. la jolie déco de l'appartement. toutes les bonnes choses dont Chiara avait rempli le frigo à notre intention. et surtout, la situation, au bord du lac, avec la grande fenêtre permettant d'admirer à toute heure le lac etde s'amuser du spectacle des passants. nous nous sommes rarement sentis aussi bien. allez-y sans hésiter.
