It was near the subway and made it easy to access transportation. The room was clean and had what we needed.

For us it was wonderful location next to the 1st Green Line Kato Patisia metro station. It is close to supermarket, different Indian food locations. Compared to other places in Athens this one is quiet during the evening/night hours. This is the corner apartment with full balcony around. We loved that balcony doors have shotters from the outside light and extra sound. We spent 4 wonderful nights there. Enjoyed.

The only challenge is parking for those that are traveling by car. We had to submit our vehicle back to the rent place to enjoy vacation by metro.

Apartment is a good size for 4 people with aircon in every room. A proximity to the metro station and bus stop (X93 from the airport) was really appreciated by everyone as around 1 min walk and around 15 min train journey and you are in a historic city centre. Beds were comfortable, good size kitchen and lounge, WiFi around 100/10mbit and smart TV was a good add on too. There is a lift to that 2nd floor apartment but takes 120kg/2 people. Provided soap and shower gel/shampoo in the bathroom as well as a cold mineral water in the fridge was a good gesture too.

The area is more of a East Asia, Africa one than Greece. You won't feel Greece vibe there for sure. Quite dirty on the streets, homeless people around etc. Not a touristy place for sure. The proximity of the metro might be disturbing to some if prefer to sleep with open window rather than use aircon. Apartment was generally cleaned but not clean. Under sofas, beds plenty of dust, in some other places also required a good deep clean. In 1 bedroom, bedding had a bit weird smell - would recommend a good wash. Few bits and bobs were not working (sandwich toaster) or not fully working but nothing really causing a big problem to us. However, there was a wall socket in the bathroom which was lose that was a bit risky with kids or so. More hangers in the wardrobes would be appreciated as we didn't managed to put all our cloths on the shelves. There was no toilet paper provided but luckily we arrived during shop opening hours and we managed to do our shopping soon after arrival. The first morning, we were waken up by heavy drilling next door (apartment refurb) but I have to say when reported to the rental agency we were not disturbed during our few days' stay. Quite low ceiling (literally just door height) in the bathroom should be taken into account by tall people.
