Secret Garden

A lovely, peaceful place just outside the busy tourist area, which made it perfect for relaxing. It was an easy walk to the river, and there was a great little restaurant within walking distance. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Nothing to complain about

Beautiful, quiet location with lovely views. I travelled for business, so I would recommend doing some shopping beforehand, as there are no shops within 3 km. There is one Indian restaurant around a 10-minute walk away, although it is closed on Mondays. There is also a crêpe shop by the river, around 1.5 km away, which took about 25 minutes to walk to. Overall, a peaceful place to stay, especially if you have a car.

The location was very near the Rhine River which was nice. It was easy to get to the city center. It was only a few miles to the Rhine Waterfalls.

We had a dickens of a time getting the key lockbox to open. Photos were given to us of where to find it, we then entered the code, but couldn't get the lockbox open. It was tricky. It's an older building and the apartment didn't have much aesthetic appeal. The bathroom is very small and wouldn't accommodate a large person. It is not suitable for anyone who is disabled. The kitchen was fully equipped except it has a fancy coffee maker which we had no clue how to use. Landlords need to provide written instructions in English of how to work things.
