Loved having such easy access to two great cafes right next door, makes breakfast so easy! Really enjoyed the security of the place, just a perfect spot for a visit to Whanganui. Didn't use the kitchen, however if you needed to it is fully equipped. Very clean, very good facilities that are easy to use. Great storage for an extended stay, and a dedicated office area. Very warm as it was a cold (freezing) weekend and it was so nice to be warm and toasty.
Mattresses in smaller rooms could use a upgrade - mattress in main room was fabulous!

No hooks in bathroom. No shelf on shower. No mirrors in bedrooms. One bathroom containing the one toilet, will not be acceptable for more than a couple as guests. A couple of side tables in the lounge would be helpful. Main brm bedside lamps useless. The two flights of internal access stairs are high risk. Front door should open inwards and have a canopy for weather protection.
