Villa Mariani II - in Lothiarika, newly renovated, private pool, Lindos 10 min, beach 120m

Perfect for all our different ages. Quite private. The pool was a boon and was well used by all of our party. It was ideally located being half way between our two principal attractions, Pefkos and Lardos. A good time was had by all of us. Although a large supermarket was a short drive away, there were a couple of small shops within walking distance.

Only that the dishwasher wasn’t perfect.

Amazing from start to finish. Perfect location 5 minute walk to beach with bars and sunbeds. 400 metres to shops, bars, and restaurants. Watersports 500 metres from the villa, we rented jet skis and a boat. The pool was cleaned 3 times in the week we stayed there. Beach towels are provided, and there are floaties for the pool with shade and sun all day Very peaceful except for the angry greek lady over the road if you got too close to her drive. Electric gate was a bonus you felt secure in the villa and didn't have to worry about the hire car. Luliana was great. Messages were answered almost immediately. The kettle broke, so I sent a message, and within 30 mins, she was there with another one. When you wanted housekeeping, you just send her a message the day before. Nothing was too much trouble. Great air conditioning, so it was always cool. The villa had everything you needed and was very clean, and the garden was immaculately kept.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Communication was excellent and we were offered to be met at the Villa. We were late getting there due to a delay with passport control so just travelled there and advised when we had arrived. They still came to meet us to explain the features of the Villa and to answer any questions.

The only downside was the bed in the en-suite room which was very hard and probably requires replacing!

The Villa was extremely comfortable, well equipped and the outside space and pool was great. It was very close to shops and a handful of lovely restaurants.

Although close to shops, restaurants and a beach, we did not use the local beach as it was a mixture of sand and shingle/stones plus littered. We much preferred the sandy beach at Lindos.
