The property has beautiful external communal spaces; bright, modern and comfortable. Swell is really close to the centre of Naoussa and also the beach. There is a supermarket close by and a car hire which we used. We liked the that the apartment had two bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds.

Although the design of the apartment is very attractive with nice artwork, it was actually quite rundown inside (unlike the outside spaces which are beautiful). Connection to the outside spaces was lacking. Despite being on the ground floor, the only door to the outside is the front door which locks each time you shut it. We sat out in the courtyard but another door would have improved our stay. Drying beach towels, bath towels and swimwear for a family of 4 was hard as we didn't have enough private outdoor space, only a very small drying rack next to the front door. There was a bad smell of damp in the kitchen We had cold showers most nights and often had to wash up with cold water (the hot water appeared to run out early evening) The bathroom was the biggest disappointment. The shower was stained and unsightly and had no shower curtain so the whole room flooded every time anyone showered. The shower mat and towels were not changed during our stay so this was a problem. Although the information said the apartment had a washing machine there is not one. The manager offered to do laundry but I don't believe they use washing powder so it wasn't very fresh. Several of the drawers in the bedroom wouldn't open and need attention. Alex the manager was keen to engage and assist but we couldn't quite appreciate his sense of humour!
