The Place Is lovely and the owner very kind and helpful. In a good position for beaches. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. Area nice and quiet with a beautiful view. Everything you need is present and house clean and tidy.
The bathroom really needs changing. Shower curtain makes things difficult, drainage poor, no bidet and nowhere to hang things, very small room that needs modernising. Not all fly nets work. Would have been better with Air conditioning.

This place shouldn’t have the mid-tier rating it currently does. The location is unbeatable - at the top of Via Bortoniana it is literally the highest house in the village; the only building higher is the castle immediately above it, and that’s been in ruins since the 19th century. The view of Monte Bulgheria from the apartment is choice. The stairs to the castle ruins are stone’s throw from the apartment and you can ascend for an incredible 360 view of the countryside - particularly recommended at sunrise or sunset. The apartment is readily accessible by car - drive up from the west along the Salita Castello and park right by the house - and from it you can explore all the village’s winding stairways. Nearby restaurants are between 12- and 20-minute walks. The archaeological site of Roccagloriosa is about a 40-minute stroll. Obviously shorter by car. The apartment comes fully stocked with all linens, cooking materials, an electric stove, fridge, etc. The hot water heater worked solidly. Andrea, the hostess, lives downstairs (n.b. - the terrace in the photos is part of her apartment, not the guest apartment) and is unfailingly polite, available, and helpful. Highly recommended.
Two windows - the kitchen and bedroom - do not fully seal. Not an issue if you are staying earlier in the season or have warm clothing, but should be fixed.
