You can reach the vineyards in 5 minutes on foot, the Ahr River in 2 minutes, and the historic center of Ahrweiler with its medieval city walls, pedestrian zone, marketplace, shops, restaurants, and cafés in about 15–20 minutes. Bad Neuenahr is around a 20–25 minute walk away.
