Tranquil and Spacious Family Haven by Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park!

The house is great and in a safe neighborhood. I loved the layout of the home and the number of beds available. The living space is large and great for gathering together. I was disappointed with the level of cleanliness. The carpet in the bedrooms needs to be replaced. It's worn out and within a minute of walking on it, feet were filthy. There was water in a pot on the counter that had mold growing in it. Not sure how long water needs to sit to grow mold but clearly, it had been there THAT long. We also had ants come in several times during our stay, with the last day, thousands swarming the kitchen trash can. The outside of the home is covered in cobwebs. Several areas inside the home also had cobwebs and spiders, especially between the windows and blinds. The right side of the freezer didn't work, which we only found out after all our frozen food was placed in that side overnight. The left side DID work so we were able to save most of the food we bought. The in-fridge ice maker did not work at all. We also felt concerned about the several smoke alarms that were removed and laying on the shelf in the laundry room. Bathrooms were nice and bedrooms were mostly comfortable. With a thorough cleaning and new carpeting in the bedrooms, this place would earn 5 stars.

We were pleased with the quiet neighborhood and clean house. This is our 3rd year we stayed here.

Oven needs to be cleaned. We made a pizza and it smoked up the entire house because of something that spilled at the bottom of the oven previously. From previous renters.

We have stayed here 2 years in a row, everything has been great, the host was always responsive if we had a question. Will stay again next year.
