This was a nice place for us to stay. There was a little hiccup the day we arrived but the host corrected the matter promptly. We were very grateful for the quick response. Worked perfectly for our trip.

I will start by saying the host was very responsive to our issues. They took care of the items that could be resolved during our stay and kept in communication with us throughout our stay. The house itself is in a state of disrepair (vinyl floor lifted in several areas, outlets broken /unusable, walls with holes, backyard full of weeds and uninviting). It needs some TLC. It's an older home, so describing it as "modern" is misleading. The house was mostly clean - the exception being a dirty comforter that was stored in the hallway cabinet. The beds had a waterproof fitted sheet underneath which made them uncomfortable and noisy whenever you moved around, but we didn't take them off, as we weren't comfortable doing so. There are no grab bars in either shower / bath, which made both bathrooms unusable for my elderly mother to take a shower. The house is in a great location, quiet older neighborhood, and is a decent size. With a bit of effort and some minor investment in more / better amenities this could be a nice rental (for example, none of the bedrooms has a dresser or even a luggage rack, so we had to live out of suitcases on the floor; no mirrors in the 3 bedrooms that share 1 bathroom so had to take turns; no extra blankets; and could use a chair in the master). Again, the host was great -sent an HVAC tech over immediately to fix the broken furnace (first night was COLD) and delivered some missing amenities. I hope this is constructive for the house and future guests.
