Our group of friends has spent a weekend in Prince Edward County every summer for 5 years now. This was our first time at this property and we really enjoyed our stay. Having the extra bedrooms and washrooms was a huge bonus. We spent much of our time in the sunroom and we enjoyed the sauna and a plunge in the bay!.

Pros: The hosts were very responsive, kind and understanding. The cottage was spacious, fully stocked and had lots of useful amenities, though would benefit from having a washer/dryer especially for long stays. Lots of games for children and kid friendly with a bouncer, high chair, play crib etc. It’s also a 15 minute drive from a nearby lake with clean shallow water that’s great for kids! The bathrooms, rooms and kitchen were clean and had everything you needed.Cons:The outside of the cottage needs some cleaning. Lots of cobwebs/bugs on the lawn chairs. The lawn and outside patio table is covered with geese/duck poop, and the kayaks had massive spiders in them so we ladies were scared to use it until the men cleaned them out. Also, the cottage looks way more up to date in pictures than in real life. The entrance to the water is extremely slippery and dangerous. Lots of kids/adults slipped and fell very dangerously hard on the concrete. The water is not swimable, it’s very polluted and dirty so we drove to a nearby lake to swim. The pictures make the water look better than it is.Overall it was a decent place to stay but it is way overpriced, we have stayed at many cottages through vrbo with cheaper pricing and better quality water and space. We were a little disappointed as the pictures were kind of misleading. We still made some great memories as a family so we thank the hosts for that.
