It turned out an almost perfect place to stay. Comfortable, clean, spacious, and well equipped. But the main thing is its location, right inside of a triangle of three major attractions - Chambord, Cheverny, and Blois.
We did not see the owner, communicated with him by email, but Christian was very responsive.
The only issue was that the wi-fi was something spotty, but it was not anything major.
All in all, highly recommended!

The owner was very accommodating and gave us a lot of information about the house and the surrounding areas. The house could have been a little cleaner (cobwebs, BBQ and Coffee pot). It was in a great location and very quiet. Not far from the incredible Chateau de Chambord which was a great day out.
Not happy that the air-conditioning wasn't working and we weren't advised before we arrived as this was a main point for selection this property.
The internet (Wifi) was also spotty and didn't work all of the time.
An addition of sunbeds would have been nice but not essential.
