Overall, our stay was great. It's an old 1920's house, so there is some charm and character to the place. Beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels and even had shampoo/conditioner. The kitchen had all the dishes, cups, and kitchen gadgets we needed to cook basic meals. We did notice our socks getting dog hair, even though we didn't initially see any dog hair on the wood floors. This is definitely a dog-friendly house for people with allergies to be aware of. The location was prime, being that it is super close to the riverwalk, coffee shop, and ice cream/chocolate shop super close by. The street it's on is a little funky since it's a busy one-way street that runs along a large, busy bridge. It took a couple of attempts to figure out where to park and how to get in and out of the alley behind the house. We did run across a couple of issues, one of which was not something the host/owner had no control over. We mentioned it to Patrick, and he said he would address the issue. The second issue was the TV setup. It's a smart TV but with an Apple TV setup. We are not Apple users, so it required an Apple ID, which made things complicated, and at the end, we were never able to use the TV, which was unfortunate since my husband and kids planned to watch the Fifa World Cup soccer games. We happen to have a tablet, and even tried casting it to the TV, but the sound/audio would not work with casting.

We have stayed in this unique and historic Reno house 3 times now, both in summer and winter - it is roomy, charming, very comfortable, and the location is great. We especially appreciated the preservation of the wonderful old wood floors and architectural details. The kitchen is well equipped, with great appliances, and the dining table is huge, The little side "office" is a great place to work. We have not utilized the front sleeping area off the living room, so can't speak for the comfort or privacy of that space, but the 2 regular bedrooms have nice quality queen beds and plenty of room. The bathrooms are nicely equipped, too. The host is VERY responsive, which we appreciated. We absolutely recommend this home for an extended Reno stay!
