The house was very clean and uncluttered, yet it had everything we needed (except for a hair dryer, which was not in the listing, so we should've brought one).We were in the lake everyday. Having so many kayaks was great! The lake bottom is muck, but we used pool noodles to swim from the dock to deeper water, so our feet never had to touch the bottom!Mike was very responsive and got back right away both before and during our stay. The only downside is the ticks in the yard that got on our dogs and us, but with a wooded yard, Mike can't be responsible for that!Be sure to check out the Shrine of the Pines and Mac's Dune Rides. We all agreed those were highlights of our trip!

Had a wonderful stay during a ski trip. The hot tub was wonderful and the view was great. We would love to stay again in the summer when we'd be able to enjoy the lake.

We just wanted to get a way for a weekend to relax and unwind. This place allowed us to do just that. We rested and was able to relax in the hot tub and have a quiet weekend. The cottage was so nice and clean and had so much space. We will be booking again in the future!

The listing photos were somewhat misleading. The property is located directly next to a major highway, which we were not expecting. We believed we had booked a secluded, peaceful location, but the highway noise was clearly audible inside the house and made it difficult to sleep in the morning. It was also apparent that the home is pet-friendly, as there was dog hair on the couch upon arrival. Additionally, the cleaning fee felt excessive given that we left the property in the same condition we found it, especially with a departure checklist of tasks that guests were expected to complete. The hot was nice but then again all you could hear was vehicles driving by.
