Back of the Moon Cottage in the Hills

Back of the Moon Cottage is a lovely accommodation, Very comfortable, and everything you need is there, There are outside areas to enjoy, patio table, grill and also another very nice sitting area with flowers and vegetables growing, which was a great place to enjoy the morning with a nice cup of coffee! The cottage is so nicely decorated, very updated and is charming and cozy. Kim is a great host and very responsive. I highly recommend it. Solid Ground Brewery is within walking distance and we enjoyed excellent burgers there, and other drinking options if one chooses. So if you need accommodations in the Placerville CA area, this is an excellent property to choose.

Back of the Moon home is a perfect location with easy access to everything local. Wineries, Apple Hill, Old Hangtown, and unique restaurants. The house is clean, quiet, updated, and at the same time, old Spanish style. Thank you to Kim and Seth for the lovely flowers and thoughtful note welcoming us. The house is equipped with everything we need. We have family close by, so we will stay here again for sure!!

We recently spent 17 days at Back of the Moon Cottage while I was recovering from major back surgery. We live over 3 hours from Marshall Hospital where my surgery was performed so I couldn't return home right away. The Cottage was the perfect place for us to stay. It was very clean and very quiet. Kim and Seth were amazing and always available for anything we needed. It was a wonderful experience staying there.

We loved our stay at Back of the Moon!! It is a charming cottage that has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great location close to restaurants and shopping in the quaint town of Placerville. Kim is a fantastic host and great communicator.
