I traveled to Muskegon area with my elderly father-in-law, husband, and 9 yo child. Our host was very kind in allowing an earlier check-in due to our travel schedules.We really enjoyed the property given its walkability to local businesses! The sunroom on the front porch is inviting and comfortable in the evenings. We didn’t spend a ton of time in the house aside from the evening time. The beds were very comfortable. The house was well stocked with the necessary items. The only thing that we didn’t have and didn’t realize until we went to leave was there was not a pod for the dishwasher. I did text the host about a few things throughout our stay and she was responsive. A few quirks to the rental: the upstairs is not air conditioned/gets very warm during the day time and takes time to cool off. My FIL stayed upstairs as he wanted the ensuite bathroom and said it was a bit warm. Wash clothes were not provided.We ended up buying our own. It seemed like no one had checked the outside property prior to arrival as I also had to clean the patio/furniture off in order to use it (lots of leaves, sticks, dead bugs.webs). We did try to use the fire pit once and couldn’t get it to start after trying to trouble shoot it 30 minutes. I did eventually hear from the host and she had someone come over look at it the next day to get it working, but we didn’t have time to use by that time. Other than those few things, the house was lovely.

Great property, wonderful updates with modern conveniences. Cristal was a fabulous host. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. She even left a chilled bottle of wine in the fridge upon our arrival, along with a bottle of red wine. ABOVE and BEYOND. My wife loved having her morning coffee on the front porch. The house was extremely clean, fresh/new linens/fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. We travel to Michigan every summer and will be back! Highly recommend Cristal’s Moon Place!! :)
