About this house rental
Discover Hidden Canyon Gem, a distinctive tri-level retreat perched above a thriving canyon. Near SDSU, Qualcomm Stadium, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Downtown, Airport, Beaches, and Baja Mexico. Enjoy proximity to all of the diverse dining options San Diego has to offer. Our location ensures a 15-25 min drive to major attractions, offering convenience and tranquility in one.
This special property is perched above a thriving canyon with a spacious deck off the main bedroom, perfect for enjoying beautiful sunsets. The kitchen is top-notch with marble countertops and a thick Redwood island. It features a 36-inch gas cooktop and hood, and it's fully equipped with all the cooking tools you'll ever need. The property comes fully furnished, with most of the furniture being handmade, including a unique dining room table made from a single piece of big leaf maple. Street parking is always available in this quiet neighborhood.
In addition to the living room, there's a small office for your convenience. The backyard boasts an observation deck with a pot belly stove and outdoor seating. You'll also have access to a 36” griddle, propane grill, and a small Weber grill. The property features a functional garden with various vegetables, herbs, a large lime tree, and a pomegranate tree. The front, side, and backyard gardens are professionally tended to once a week. High-speed fiber optic internet from ATT keeps you connected, and a pest control company visits every 2 months to ensure a pest-free environment.
The upper level of the home has 3 total bedrooms: one large bedroom and one small bedroom that share the guest bathroom. The master bedroom has a large glass sliding door leading to the deck, complete with outdoor furniture and a small workout area.
The lower level has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a great room, and can be accessed from a separate side entrance, or via stairs inside the home. Just a note, if you have mobility problems, these stairs could be a challenge. They are a bit steep. We don't recommend them for the elderly with any problems climbing stairs. If you have a lot of kid gear or heavy suitcases to haul up or down, it can be counted as your daily workout!

Great house. Very fun to stay at. Very resourceful. Great location for my church’s missions trip. Two kitchens came very much in handy. Very spacious. Would highly recommend.
