About this house rental
We invite you to relax with the whole family and friends at this peaceful, recently remodeled cabin located in close proximity (around 2 miles) of Castle Rock and Petenwell Lakes. Retreat to the deck to enjoy coffee, gather by the fire pit or take advantage of the local attractions which include Necedah Wildlife Refuge, Buckhorn State Park or Roche-A-Cri State Park.
Depending on the season, you might enjoy fishing, mushroom picking, hunting, snowmobiling, boating, biking or local entertainment.
The kitchen is equipped with:
- cutlery, pots, pans, bowls, cutting boards, coffee brewing machine, cordless kettle, and toaster.
Bathroom:
-hair dryer
- towels, shampoo, hair conditioner, body wash
-first aid kit
Living room:
- TV (Internet TV - American and Polish channels-picture break-up on some channels), free WI-FI, books, board games, cards.
Garden, outdoor deck (one covered at the entrance to the house and another at the back of the house, where there is a gas grill and a garden table with chairs)
There is a designated place for a fire pit in the garden.

The home was very clean and welcoming. Had a nice bonfire, and could see so many stars. Can’t see any neighbors homes from the yard, and quiet neighborhood. Went to Sandhill wildlife refuge and Room to Roam Dog Park. Stopped at Festival Foods in Mauston on the drive up!We loved it!

Our family stayed for 10 days and absolutely loved our visit and the property. The house had everything you could possibly need and the view with the trees on the property was beautiful! The house is very spacious and and the neighborhood was extremely quite with a woodsy feeling with a great location near town. We are planning to go back early in 2025 as it is near lakes and a perfect location for ice fishing. Had a chance to meet the owners who were very kind and easy going! Would recommend the house. The property is amazing. The decks, the fire pit were great. The house was perfect for 3 of us. Super clean, well stocked with everything you need. We had a perfect weekend of relaxing, talking and star watching. Thank you for sharing your place with us
