About this house rental
This wonderful 4 bedroom house features multiple sources of entertainment and gathering spaces. There is the original cute and cozy cape house featuring 4 bedrooms, all with queen size beds and two bathrooms, one with a soaking tub. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to enjoy a home cooked meal or enjoy eating out at the Rustic Rooster Restaurant (1 mile down the road!). There is a huge living room attached to an outdoor deck and screened in porch overlooking a spacious yard and the Mill River. The house also features a huge game room with a full size pool table, ping pong table, Pop-a-Shot basketball game, dart board and 9 foot shuffleboard table. Watch the big game or a movie in front of the wood burning stove on the sectional couch. The house is fun for everyone with over 2800 square feet of living space.
The circular driveway has room for four cars. The house is located on Route 103 in East Wallingford, a prime location for Vermont adventurers. Okemo mountain is 12 minutes away. Killington is just a 35 minute drive and a trailhead to the Appalachian Trail is literally 4 minutes down the road. Hike the awesome Clarendon Gorge in just minutes. East Wallingford is 10 minutes from the cute towns of Wallingford and Ludlow and just 15 minutes from downtown Rutland. The Rutland airport is 8 minutes away.
This house is dog friendly. We have a large size dog crate available for use. The internet is solid and two smart TVs can be used for watching your favorite streaming services. Possibilities abound as you enjoy hanging out at the property or adventuring around the beautiful state of Vermont.

Our family had the most wonderful short stay at the charming house by the creek. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by how clean and serene everything was. The house layout was perfect for us, giving everyone enough space to relax and spend time together without feeling cramped.
The views from the porch were absolutely phenomenal. We spent many mornings and evenings just sitting outside, soaking in the beauty of the serene creek right out back. It was so peaceful and calming, exactly what we needed.
Inside, the house felt so cozy and welcoming. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect too, with easy access to nearby trails for our little adventures. Our kids absolutely loved the fully stocked game room and all the table games, keeping them entertained and happy.
The kitchen was charming and had everything we needed to prepare our meals. It was so nice to have such a well-equipped space to cook and enjoy family dinners together.
Overall, we couldn't be happier with our stay. This house provided us with the perfect getaway, and we are so grateful for the experience. We can't recommend it enough. Thank you for making our stay so special!
