This magnificent hillside villa is situated in Garfagnana, halfway between Lucca, Cinque Terre and Pisa. Located away from the centre, it is nestled amidst greenery and quietude offering tranquility away from the hustle, making it ideal for families seeking a peaceful holiday. It is a detached house part of a carefully restored villa and perfectly blends its antique structure, decorated with modern and rustic furniture. Spread across two floors, it features two spacious bedrooms, a large living/dining room and a kitchen, making it a comfortable stay for a group of 6.
As you enter, the gate opens onto a courtyard equipped with a barbecue and patio for pleasant outdoor dining with splendid views of the mountains. There is a beautifully maintained garden, equipped with sun loungers for you to have pleasant moments of relaxation. Inside, you will find a vibrant living room furnished with sofas and a table, leading to an extended sitting area with a table and chairs. There is a fireplace in this area to keep you warm and cosy. On the right of the entrance is a fully equipped kitchen with a cooker hob, a coffee machine, an electric kettle, a dishwasher, a toaster, an oven, a microwave and a fridge with a freezer at your disposal. A separate dining table makes the kitchen even more characteristic.
From 2025 the house will also have an unheated outdoor swimming pool with a pool size of 5.49 meters in length, 2.74 in width and 1.32 in depth.

Property: traditional stone house, spacious, clean, cool in the heat, beautiful large window in the kitchen, Pool perfect, views breathtaking, neighbours very friendly, cool pathway system behind the house to connect other building; all windows have screens.Absolutely no car noise as the village is tucked away on the side of the hill. Location: in the mountains with incredible views and nature;within a small community, no bar/grocerie store in immediate vicinity. 10min by foot or 2min by care is a small, delicious restaurant with great lunch option; next grocery store is approx. 3 min down the hill or a bigger one approx. 7 min from the house (the owner of the grocery store is actually the neighbour and super nice); there's also a gas stationNice pizzaria and restaurant down the hill (3min by car)Other restaurants within a 10min radiusCar parking right on the property, which is convenient.Even though we have 3 kids (incl. 2 teenagers), they actually enjoyed the solitude and peaceful environment of the location. approx. 1,5hr drive to Pisa and Lucca. Use the backroads if you have time, you will see tons of beautiful places. All roads in the area are windy and it takes time to get to places...but that is what holidays are for :) We thoroughly enjoyed our time, dealing with the agency, all the info we received prior and the amazing people we got to meet.

Our stay was wonderful. The house is in a very nice and quiet space. We would love to come back.
Due to the hot weather it was very warm in the nights. So we had to buy two fans for ventilation. The house owner gave us the money back - thanks for that. Now there is an oportunity to have air ventilation in hot nights ;-)
You have to know that it is on the top of a mountain - so it always take a little bit longer to reach if you plan day trips. But we knew it and we really enjoyed our stay
