The New River Cascade is a peaceful getaway, nestled in the mountain off the beaten path, just minutes from all the parks and adventures.
Imagine yourself enjoying the morning sunrise, while sipping your favorite beverage, watching the wildlife come to life in the mornings.
A quiet retreat to rest after a long day of hiking the New River Gorge NP. Kick your feet up on the rear deck or out by the firepit, while the sunsets, and enjoy the peace the mountains have to offer.
Enjoy meals together in the amazing dinning area. The dining room is very large, with an 8-person chopping block style table.

Enjoy the oversized Kitchen area to cook for the family. Fully furnished with a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee makers and dishwasher. There is also a 4' Island with two bench seats.
Relax together after a day of adventure in the living room. Our living room is a great area to gather with the family. 2 couches, with 2 queen/throne style chairs, create a spacious area.

We chose this location due to number of bedrooms. Two rooms of which were a converted porch accessible only through the master bedroom. The floors had been recently done but some covered subflooring that needs to be replaced. There was give. The floors were uneven and there were several tripping hazards especially in the dark. There were no exhaust fans in the bathrooms and uneven water pressure. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom didn’t work. Master bedroom had no door at the bottom of the stairs. Sound carried. Humidity was an issue. The furniture was new and comfortable. The view was nice. It was close to town. Plenty of appliances and dishes all new. Nice washer and dryer. The host was responsive and brought requested resupplies same day.
