My wife and two adult children booked a family vacation at the Cape Meares Hide A way.
First off, the location was fabulous. Nestled among old growth forest, the comfortable well appointed home was perfect for our family. The home was quiet, clean and within a short walk to a beautiful beach.
The Home: Our bed was super comfortable and the sound of the ocean at night led to amazing sleep. The shower heads were high and water pressure great, with my son and I being well over 6 foot tall this was awesome. The home was clean and well furnished with a huge deck area that we used for grilling and outdoor dining. The skillets could use and update, but were acceptable.
The area: Old growth forest, small community and uncrowded beach. It is a drive to the nearest grocery store in Tillamook. The area lends itself to rest and relaxation. There is a lighthouse near and hiking trails as well. There are many towns nearby to explore.
The staff at Beach Break were fantastic and very responsive to my inquiries.
I highly recommend this home and Beach Break for your Oregon coast excursion.

Fantastic. Check in was a breeze. Kitchen is large, well appointed and organized. Great place for our family reunion. We would definitely come back.
