Grand Family Escape - 1 minute from Water Park!

We have enjoyed staying here at this property, plenty of room and a big backyard for our dog to run around and play! The homeowners have been great with getting back to our needs and helping with anything we may need!!

The house overall is in a good location and accessible to places. The house was decorated as the pictures depicted but the outside was not as pleasant. The shutters need to be replaced or painted, the garage cans were filled with trash, and it looked a bit abandoned. I drove past the house twice because the address was wrong on the listing. The house looks old and probably being used as a rental property. However the carpet needs to be replaced or cleaned thoroughly because it has a mildew odor throughout the house. The washing machine flooded the downstairs area badly and one of the toilets stopped flushing. All issues were reported to the owner immediately. He stated the toilet and washing machine could’ve stopped working due to the tornado storms. I am not too keen on storms causing these type of damages but I think these issues were present beforehand and not repaired. The living room furniture needs to be cleaned or replaced because it was dirty. There were bugs and ants in the living room and kitchen. The house needs a deep cleaning. The bathrooms have minor upgrades like new shower heads but the master bathroom shower has rust in the floor corners. I think the price was ok but needs to be lowered if the place stays as a rental property without being repaired. The owner seemed receptive to my reports and did check on us during the storm. I hope these review helps both owner and other potential renters. Thank you.
