About this house rental
Step out the door into the beautiful medieval market town of Montcuq, enjoy the busy Market days twice a week and all the fun of the yearly summer events. Get to know the locals and enjoy the surrounding villages, vineyards and the river Lot. Have a swim in the local swimming lake or explore the Montcuq tower and soak in the stunning surrounding countryside views from the top. Stop off for dinner and cocktails at one of the village restaurants before strolling home through the medieval streets, feeling the history in every step.
When you’ve done all of that, come home for a glass of wine and cheese in the sprawling garden and watch the sun go down. If things get too hot, you can jump in the plunge pool to cool down. Choose from 4 bedrooms, 3 with king sized beds and one with 2 singles, high thread count cotton sheets and fans for hot nights. Once you’ve had a good nights sleep, pop to the village bakery for freshly baked pastries or head to the cafe for coffee and croissants and watch the world go by before you start your day exploring Luzert or Cahors or one of the many beautiful town and villages of the Lot region. You’ll find some amazing places on your adventures and enjoy coming back to the welcoming and relaxing arms of your wonderful holiday home.

Montcuq is such a pretty place and this is a lovely house to stay in. The house is just a few minutes walk to a fantastic boulangerie and you can wander to restaurants and cafes and watch the world go by, all without having to drive.
The house is spacious and nicely decorated, with everything you can think of for a great stay. It has a massive garden and outbuildings, so perfedt for a family. We will return, but with the whole family, as there's so many areas to relax in.
