About this cabin rental
Welcome to the newly renovated Sequoia Serenity Lodge! Cabin is located on the hillside with absolutely stunning views!!! Property will accommodate a maximum of 8 guests (max occupancy is strictly enforced), & is an entertainers dream. Property is located just 6.5 miles from the Sequoia National Park entrance, & is a great place to recharge after exploring the park.

Property has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 2 game room areas
Property is equipped with a classic Super Nintendo Entertainment System gaming console which has been outfitted with every Super NES game produced. Have fun taking a stroll down memory lane!!!
WHAT'S PROVIDED:
Dish soap, hand soap, dishwasher soap, paper towels, trash bags, cleaning supplies, basic cooking supplies, spices, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and toilet paper are all provided for your convenience. You may need to purchase additional supplies for larger parties or extended stays.
Also, we provide all of the following freshly laundered linens for your stay: towels, sheets, pillowcases, pillows, quilts, and blankets.
Kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to whip up a delicious meal. A Keirug duo is available for your caffeine needs (which can make single cups or full pots depending on your needs). If cooking isn’t your thing the local town is a quick drive away and has several different dining options available.
Free Wifi is provided, and TVs are equipped with streaming via Sling. Property has both heating and air conditioning.
We also have an onsite 220 volt 20 amp EV onsite which is available to guests. Charger has a 40amp 14-50 plug in available.
Public Kaweah River access is available a short drive away at Cobble Knoll and Slick Rock.
IMPORTANT INFO:
***Property is located in the foothills which is considered a high risk wildfire area. There may be times when our electricity utility company temporarily shuts off electricity to the property due to increased wildfire risk caused by winds, etc. These temporary power outages are rare precautionary measures and are beyond our control.***
***Loud noise and loud music is not allowed at anytime.
***There is no landline telephone line at the property. Cell service for most carriers is available.
***High Speed Internet is provided and is the fastest WiFi available in the area. Service will occasionally be on and off due to mountain location, altitude, and weather.
***Property is located in the foothills, thus it is located in a wildlife area. Especially between March and November, there is a possibility of seeing Bears and other wildlife. It is extremely important to not leave any food or trash outside or in vehicles, that vehicles are locked at all times, and that windows lower than 10 feet from the ground are not left open at night or when leaving the property.
***Property is located in the foothills, which is home to various species of snakes, scorpions, and many other types of bugs and reptiles. Please be aware of your surroundings and do not leave children unattended.
***Please be advised we do have two external cameras located on the front porch and on the side of the house facing the driveway area. We do not reside in the property full time and use the camera to monitor for property security.
***We do not offer cancellations, refunds, reschedules, or credits of any kind for weather conditions, and/or park closures as these are beyond our control. We strongly suggest that guests purchase travel insurance if weather and/or park closures are a concern.
***Please be advised that there will be third parties periodically on site at the property to perform landscaping, and pest spraying services.
***Due to our mountain location near the river our water contains minerals which can impact the taste and smell. The water is safe to drink and is professionally treated. If you are sensitive to taste we recommend that you bring bottled water for your stay.
RULES:
• Maximum occupancy of 8 is strictly enforced (Occupancy greater than 8 guests will result in immediate cancellation with no refund, and an additional $500 fee)
• No smoking or vaping inside the home
• No driving or parking in any unpaved areas
• No parties/events (Unauthorized parties/events will result in immediate cancellation with no refund, and an additional $1,000 fee)
• No pets allowed (Unauthorized Pet Fee $500)
• No 3rd Party Bookings Allowed (Person making reservation must be staying at property)
• Quiet Hours - 10pm-8am
• No loud music or excessive noise inside or outside the unit at any time
• Tampering with or disabling the Wifi, or camera will result in immediate cancellation with no refund
• Please be mindful and respectful of our neighbors
• No open fires or fireworks allowed
• No feeding wildlife
• No exception to Check-In and Check-Out times unless pre-approved by host in advance
• We do not offer cancellations, refunds, reschedules, or credits of any kind for weather conditions, and/or park closures as these are beyond our control. We strongly suggest that guests purchase travel insurance if weather and/or park closures are a concern.
• No flushing anything other than toilet paper in toilets (Flushing other items - even if labeled as flushable - could result in damage and additional fees for repairs)
• Please help us keep white towels white - black makeup washcloths are provided for make-up removal, etc. so white towels are not stained.

The entire family greatly enjoyed this beautifully decorated home. The kids, large and small, loved all the available games. The beds were welcome after long travel and active days. Additionally, we loved the convenient location.

Easy to get to. A lot of extra things to do...board games...playing pool...shuffle board...the use if multiple tvs...excllent wifi... AC unit is perfect....laundry such a plus since we walked trails everyday...

Thank you to the owners of this beautiful home. Check-in went very smooth, great communication with the owner. The driveway is a bit uphill, but manageable. Inside was great, we traveled with 4 adults and 2 kids, all slept great. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean. A little bit more dusting, and cleaning under main couch wouldn't have hurt. The amenities were perfect, enough games and entertainment to soothe any antsy kids, or adults. The view from the house...wow. The house may be on the main road to the parks but once inside you don't hear it. Short drive to Sequoia, plenty of things in town to eat, even for some with dietary restrictions. Perfect for a couple, or family that is visiting the parks. Definitely a recommendation! Thanks again!

We stayed in this cabin for a couple of nights in early July. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the cabin and visiting Sequoia Park.Location - 6 miles from the entrance to the park but about an hour to the main sites. We liked the location but it was a bit of a challenge finding it at first. The drive up to the cabin was tricky to find but we understood it after finding it.Check-in - easy check-in. Received the code and getting in was good. The only complaint here is that the AC was turned off and it was hot. It took a little while to cool off once we turned the AC on.Beds and bedrooms- the bedrooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. There was 8 of us and all of us slept well. There is one bathroom in the master bedroom and one bathroom for the other two bedrooms. It would have been nice to have one more bathroom since 6 people tried to share one bathroom.Kitchen- it was big and had most things we would need such as dishes and pots and pans. Only complaint here is that the fridge did not have ice maker or water dispenser.Games- there was outdoor games and arcade games which was a bonus having a 9 year old and 11 year old.Great room - it was fine. Seating was adequate and tv was good.Other- the VRBO posting states that you can enjoy time out on the porch with a nice view. We went to sit on the porch and the chairs were filthy and covered in cobwebs. So, we didn’t do that. If they clean that up, it would be a good place to enjoy sitting outside.
