About this house rental
Welcome to "The Windansea", ONE short block from the beach and walking distance from shopping and restaurants at the Washington Street mall. This historic 7 bedroom, three and a half bath Tudor home has been newly renovated down to the studs, including all new AC, plumbing, electrical systems, new kitchen and baths. The kitchen is fully equipped with all plates, glassware and basics, two refrigerators, two ovens, and a wealth of cabinets and shelves to provide for your large group. Lovingly restored and decorated to keep hints of its 1920s charm with many generously spaced rooms, a newly opened up living and dining room that seats up to 17 for meals. This home is made for entertaining at the shore! The themed bedrooms include two king sized beds, three queens, one full and 5 singles and NO bunk beds for ease of use. A bonus is the fantastic game room in the garage behind the house, where guests can play ping pong and foosball, or sit on the couches and play cards. Quiet relaxation can also be found on the open air front porch where you can sit and listen to the ocean as you drink your morning coffee. Several beach chairs and umbrellas are included as well as a few bikes for those who want to explore. Books for adults and children and a dvd library are available as well as Wifi. Guests should bring their own sheets and towels or use a rental service, but pillows and bedspreads are included. Off-street parking is available behind the house for two to three cars and there is unmetered street parking in the area.

House was very clean and nicely decorated. It was in a perfect location in Cape May! It had everything we needed for our weekend stay. We would absolutely rent this beautiful home again in the future.

The house is spacious and charming. Many nice renovations. Great to have a 3rd floor with its own bathroom. Beautiful kitchen and nice to have 2 refrigerators and 2 ovens. While the kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes it lacked a few items that would have come in handy for us who celebrated Thanksgiving there. We missed having a 9x13 baking pan, cookie sheets and a hand mixer. Not deal breakers for all vacationers but just fyi. A beautiful dining table. Bedrooms were spacious and very nice. Beware of master bedroom king bed. It squeaks and creeks like I’ve never heard before. You cannot move in the bed without others hearing. I hate to criticize as the house overall is great BUT that bed is no joke. This has been mentioned in another review so I hope the owner is able to replace it soon. All bathrooms seem new and were very clean and nice. A great location, close to all. Accommodated our family very nicely. While we didn’t utilize it, the game room in the garage was a nice addition. We had a great time together and have no regrets spending our Thanksgiving weekend in this home. Coastline Realty was wonderful to deal with as well.

Our group had the best time here. So spacious, so many beds. Very comfortable. The location was perfect. Short walk to the beach. Will definitely be renting here again if I can!

NICE LOCATION. VERY CLEAN HOUSE. ONLY ISSUE WAS THE BEDS IN SOME OF THE ROOMS. VERY OLD BEDS AND VERY NOISY. EVERYONE IN THE HOUSE HEARS YOU WHEN YOU ROLL OVER OR MOVE AN INCH IN THE BED, SPECIFICALLY IN THE MASTER ROOM.
