Villa María, más que pernoctar

A great place to stay. Lovely gardens filled with fragrant citrus blossoms and fresh fruit. Amazing! The fresh eggs from the hens were delicious as well. The hosts are lovely and made us feel very welcome.

This villa is settled in the most beautiful hillside 5 minutes drive from Ojen along winding roads. The views are stunning and the villa has everything you could need. Sergio and his family are perfect hosts and we enjoyed fresh eggs, lemons and oranges during our stay.

Sergio had warned us that it might be cold in the evenings. (We stayed in March.) He was right but there were plenty of blankets and the air con also gave heat. We were glad that our hire car was small as the drive in was narrow- we got the hang of it though.

We had the most amazing stay and will definitely be back. The villa was beautiful set in a quiet rural location with a beautiful view across the mountain valley. The pool area with sunloungers and a parasol is lovely and a great place to unwind. The outdoor kitchen is very well equipped and we loved cooking and eating in the various outdoor tables dotted around the grounds. In fact the villa was so nice we didn’t even leave it during our 5 day stay. The owners were really friendly and let us take fresh vegetables and fruit from the garden. Even the fridge was stocked with essentials for our arrival including cold beer 🍺 The resident cat Bebe made friends with us early and was welcomed company outside in the evenings. They really had though of everything. Gracias for an amazing stay
